Cape Point & Boulders Beach Penguins
One of the best days out in Cape Town and most certainly some of the most breathtaking scenery in Cape Town can be found on this full day tour rounding Cape Point.
Starting of on the False Bay side we pass trough historic seaside villages like Muizenberg, Kalk Bay and Simonstown, each with their own special charm. After Simonstown we stop at Boulders Beach where we pay a visit to the African Penguin colony that made this scenic beach their home. One of only a couple of mainland based African penguin colonies in the world, these little performers is sure to offer you no end of entertainment and great photo opportunities. From there it's onwards to the Cape Point Nature reserve where you can expect to see antelope like the Cape Bontebok, Eland, Springbok, Ostrich and the Chacma Baboon en route to Cape Point, where the oceans meet. Lunch at the famous Two Oceans Restaurant with it's splendid food and even more splendid views. From here we continue on the Atlantic side over Chapmans Peak and trough Hout Bay on our way back to Cape Town after a day filled with beautiful scenery and dramatic landscapes. |
